In your Instagram profile, you call yourself a flower addicted. Do you have tips about arranging flowers?

Regarding flower arrangements, I find it especially important to reach for different flowers. Here I like to choose, as our local florists say, the “flowers for lovers” - for example delphinium, Iceland poppy, vetches or dahlias.

In addition, I pay attention to the shapes and colors of the flowers. These should be different so that the bouquet looks unique. I never go for the typical rose & veil weed & eucalyptus mix, actually I only put peonies in the vase.

What are the steps to bringing freshness into a room when you want to make something different about it?

Little things like textiles, posters or possibly a fresh coat of paint are often enough to give a room a new look.

You have so many beautiful vases? Where do you find them?

Most of the vases I own are from our small local florist store.

There I often discover the most beautiful vases - they’re all "no name".

But I also find them at Sostrene Grene and most precious vases in my possession, are from Studio Moki real handmade, which I appreciate very much.

And in general: Your favorite places for online interior shopping?

My favorite online store is: Beloved Home, Pinkmilk and Sostrene Grene. There I always find something, but I also like to browse locally in small stores.

What are some creative projects that you would like to explore in the future?

I think in the first place I see the redesign in the hallway, there is still something missing. Although the guest bathroom would also need a makeover.

Oh, and of course we need to ask you as a flower addicted: Your top 5 favorite Instagram accounts for floral inspiration?

My top 5 on Instagram as an absolute flower girls are:

@_wohnblock_

@mylittlebullerbyn

@lovis_messerschmidt

Thanks a lot, Katha!
