Katrin, besides pastel colors - we looove flowers and vases! Do you have tips about arranging flowers?
“Freestyle is my tip 😊. Don’t think so much and let the beauty of the flowers do the rest. You do not necessarily need a concept. Coordinated colors - which radiate, combine different flower shapes with each other and also like to use branches or wild garden flowers. There are no limits to creativity 💛.”
How do you choose the right vase for a floral arrangement to enhance its beauty?
“I like it, especially when the flowers are wildly mixed in the vase and also sometimes hang down. Therefore, for flowers with shorter stems, I like to use vases up to 20 cm and a wide upper diameter.
The colors of the vase I usually coordinate with those of the flowers.”

“OYOY Living Design, Nordic Nest, Westwing, H&M Home, Jysk”
Your color combinations are amazing, can you tell us 3 important steps when it comes to coloring walls?
“Use (recurring) harmonizing colors. Here I only use four different colors that I use again and again 😉”
“Different decorative pieces: Wreaths, pictures, baskets, mirrors”
“Use odd numbers and designate one highest point”
What are some common mistakes to avoid when using colorful walls at home?
“Shades that are too dark in rooms that are too small. Colors that do not harmonize together. Using colors that do not reappear in the house.”
Bedroom - we love your pillow covers and bedsheet covers. Where do you buy them? And how do you choose the color combinations?
“Most of the pillowcases are from H&M Home and Jysk. The colors are identical to the wall decor, pictures and our wall colors in the house. Yellow, pink, beige & morocco.
I could always combine all the pillows and blankets from the other rooms 😉.”
